One time in the 1980's or 90's I was in Amsterdam (I've visited 7 times between 1980-2005) and everyone was in orange--it was like St. Patrick's Day, only orange. I think it was about sports, though, because it was not in the spring. I've only been there in August, September, and December. Babette
